Amateur Abstinence Club - AKMA -<\/strong> is a support group for sober alcoholics and those who see the point of sober living, the so-called '0' option.<\/p>\n

Meetings are held once a week, lasting approximately 1.5 h - every Wednesday at 6.30 pm.<\/p>\n

The group has been operating at the Franciscan Reintegration Centre OIKOS since December 2024.<\/p>\n

No references or interview are needed. We welcome anyone who is convinced that they cannot manage their sobriety on their own and is open to interaction during meetings.<\/p>\n

The most important element of the meetings is to ensure that participants feel being listened to and understood, and to encourage them to identify comfortable constructively with the group and take responsibility for all activities during and outside the meetings.<\/p>\n

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) <\/strong>is a community of men and women who share experience, strength and hope in order to stand together in sobriety and help others to recover from alcoholism.<\/p>\n

There are no fees, conditions or commitments - the only requirement is a desire to stop drinking. Meetings are held regularly once a week, you can come anonymously, you don't have to say anything or introduce yourself.<\/p>\n

The basis of the programme is AA's 12 Steps - a spiritual and practical path to sobriety.<\/p>\n
